Our Supporters
As we expand and grow our grant programmes, the Artists Futures Fund welcomes collaboration with other cultural foundations and sponsors to promote our work.
Bombay Sapphire
We partnered with Bombay Sapphire as part of their Ripe for Discovery Artist Series Bottles. We were enormously grateful to receive their support.
Artist Futures Fund Trustee, Matthew Collins, commented: “our aim is to enable emerging artists, a mission that we have in common with Bombay Sapphire and their Stir Creativity platform. The generous donation from the brand will support our grant programme, working with partners across the country to deliver financial support, access to resources and mentoring.”
Natasha Curtin, Bombay Sapphire Global Vice President commented: “we are delighted to continue to showcase brilliant, emerging artists as well as give back financially to the Fund’. We hope that our gin-lovers are as excited as we are to get their hands on a beautiful, personalised piece of art as well as the delicious new Bombay Bramble gin.”
Chorley’s
Artists Futures Fund was delighted to be selected as the recipient of proceeds from an exhibition of work by Allan Laycock, generously facilitated by Chorley’s auctioneers.
Allan Laycock R.W.A. (1928–2020) studied at Keighley College of Art and Sheffield College of Art, before beginning his career as a Designer and Visualiser with advertising agencies and design groups in Norwich, Wellington, New Zealand and London. In 1974 he was appointed Lecturer in Graphic Design in the Faculty of Vocational Studies at Gloucester College of Art and Design.
Allan was primarily a landscape artist, and painted all landscapes in situ, at one sitting — rarely in a studio — using acrylics as a watercolour medium. Allan was a member of several art societies and his work is to be found in worldwide private and public collections.
The Eaton Fund
Artists Futures Fund is partnering with The Eaton Fund to provide support for the Breakthrough Artist Fellowship.
The Eaton Fund has provided help to visual artists since 1954. Its Chairman, Dr Stephen Kane, welcomed our collaboration: “The Eaton Fund shares AFF’s ambition to support artists at a critical point in their career. We are delighted to contribute an annual gift to enrich the opportunities available to the fellows.” (2024)
